10.11.10 St Martins Scout Group £200

The Foundation pledged £200 to the 2nd St Martins Scout group to help fund a winter camp for the scouts on the 19/20 of November. The money bought some logs for the camp fire allowing the scouts can do some 'backwards cooking'.

The money also purchased lashing ropes and poles adding to the pioneering kit, which will be used on the camping weekend.

22.10.10 Neurodisability Suite, Gobowen £600

The Charlotte Hartey Foundation is very pleased to provide welcome treat for the patients at the Neurodisability Suite. The residents have a variety of conditions some life limiting varying from MS, MND, Head Injury, Stroke, Huntington Disease to name but a few. They are young adults ranging from 18years upwards. As a welcome break the group have requested a trip to Blackpool for the illuminations and fish and chips by the sea!

Shelly McGlinchey, personal activity leader at the centre said, "The Blackpool Trip and Fish and Chips was a unanimous decision made by the group and the £600 donated by will more than cover the cost of the Coach hire and lunch for the day. We are so thankful to the Foundation for making this possible."

8.10.10 The Kingswell Community Centre £700

We are very please to help support their Christmas Project over a three day period Monday 21st 22nd and 23rd of December 2010. The Kingswell Centre is a family and youth support centre based in Oswestry town Centre. They offer various means of support to youth groups aged 12 -19.

6.12.10 BIRD - Brain Injury Rehabilitation & Development £1,300

We are very pleased to be able to help with the good work that B.I.R.D. does. The registered charity has been operation for 28 years and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those with brain injury has helped make a difference to may thousands of people, through its neuro-development programme.

16.9.10 Samira York - Para Dressage Dream £1000

We have the pleasure in donating £1000 to assist Samira in her Para Dressage dream. Despite suffering with severe systemic onset juvenile arthritis (Stills Disease) Samira has aspirations of representing Great Britain in 2012. We are delighted to donate £1000 to the Church for the installation of a stained glass window.

13.7.10 The Ellesmere Girl Guides High Ropes Activity £300

The Foundation pledged £300 to assist with the costs of an high ropes activity on September 20th at Mercure Albrighton Hall Hotel. The activity is one of many outdoor pursuits the guides are aiming to do and helped build confidence within the girls aged between 10-13.
