2026 Funded Projects

Supporting the Next Generation of Tennis Coaches

The Charlotte Hartey Foundation is pleased to support Oswestry Team Tennis (OTT) with a £275 Coach Education Grant to help fund a LTA Level One coaching course for junior member Maisie Anderson.

Oswestry Team Tennis is a LTA registered and junior priority tennis club based in Cae Glas Park, Oswestry, with around 140 members - the majority of whom are juniors. As a registered charity, the club keeps membership fees as low as possible in order to encourage participation and make tennis accessible to young people in the local community.

Maisie, now 16, has been a member of OTT since the age of five and has grown into an important part of the club community. She currently serves as the club’s junior representative on the parent group, assists with on-court coaching, and is a positive role model for younger players. She also represents the club in the Adult Shropshire leagues.

With the support of the Foundation’s grant, Maisie will be able to complete her LTA Level One coaching course at David Lloyd Cheshire, beginning in March. The qualification will enable her to further develop her coaching skills and continue contributing to the development of young players at the club.

The Charlotte Hartey Foundation is proud to support initiatives that help young people develop their skills, confidence and leadership within their communities.
