Oswestry Bowling Club
The Charlotte Hartey Foundation has donated £500 to support the formation of a new Crown Green Bowling Club at Cae Glas Park in Oswestry. The park, which has been a public space since its opening in 1910, is protected by a covenant ensuring it remains a place for recreation and enjoyment. The bowling green itself was gifted in 1932, with additional land added in the 1950s, making it a fitting location for the new club that aims to bring the community together through sport.

Helping in Tanzania
In Tanzania, the foundation extended its support internationally by helping fund a year of school fees for Glory, the daughter of Jonas, a former tour guide for Karl Hartey during his Mount Kilimanjaro climb. With the pandemic severely impacting the tourism sector, Jonas has struggled to find work, making it difficult to cover educational expenses. The foundation stepped in to ensure Glory could continue her studies at Ilboru Primary School, reinforcing its commitment to supporting families and education worldwide.
